  Theory of Enformed Systems

   Enformed Systems and Notions   

 Here are some excerpted definitions of a few other concepts related to The Theory of Enformed Systems :

• “Enformy . . . by creating enformation and imposing it on matter and energy/mass”.

• “Enformation is nonrandomness . . .”

• “Information is physical . . . and enformation is prephysical” (what I call Meta-Physical)

• “An enformed system is any system that is organized as a whole by enformy — i.e. any holistic system”

• “An enformed physical system is the sum of its physical parts plus a four-dimensional map [field] that specifies the relationships among those parts in spacetime” (my brackets)

• “This map is a prephysical enformation field . . .”11

• “An enformation field is the domain of influence of enformy. . . . This discontinuity accounts for the non-locality and atemporality . . . quantum correlation and 'non-local' mind”

• Enformation fields are identified by the term SELF, the acronym for Singular Enformed Living Field.

Watson says that “the concepts of TES are necessarily more abstract than those of physics”. For that reason, among others, he has developed a “metalanguage” better suited for describing processes (verbs) rather than things (nouns). More-over, he insists that “the language of TES must be theory-specific to avoid confusing its concepts with familiar ones.” That is the same reason I coined Neologisms and created a Glossary for my own theory12. He goes on to quote a colleague : “When the phenomena being studied are of such characteristics that the language you are using no longer describes the phenomena effectively — change the language!” Then, he boldly proclaims that “As the creative principle, enformy organizes and sustains holistic systems at all levels of complexity. Hence, systemics — the study of holistic systems — is the most fundamental branch of science”. To sum-up the cosmic significance of this new way of thinking about how & why the world works as it does, he asserts that TES “implies that enformy compels organisms to occur and evolve in whatever forms the physical environment allows.  Hence, intelligent life on our planet did not occur as an unlikely accident.” However, in this paper, he doesn't take the next step in the chain of implications : that the world was intentionally created by some intelligent power. In my own thesis of Enformationism, I call that hypothetical ultimate  creative force or principle : The Enformer. 

For my thesis, I coined several custom words and spellings (neo-logisms), in order to present theory-specific meanings, and “to avoid confusing its concept with familiar ones”.

      Holism

Philosophically, a whole system is a collection of parts (holons) that possesses properties not found in the parts. That something extra is an Emergent quality that was latent (unmanifest) in the parts. For example, when atoms of hydrogen & oxygen gases combine in a specific ratio, the molecule has properties of water, such as wetness, that are not found in the gases. A Holon is something that is simultaneously a whole and a part — A system of entangled things that has a function in a hierarchy of systems.

11. Fields & SELFS :
    I too, have adopted the notion of mathematical “fields” from Physics, and a similar notion of the human Self, but my usage may differ from Watson’s.

NOTE :   Since I use odd terminology, such as “Yin/Yang” and “Holism” in my thesis, it’s understandable that some will interpret my message as an espousal of New Age religious beliefs and practices. But I have specifically and repeatedly insisted that, while influenced by holistic Eastern concepts, I try to make sure that my ideas are compatible with Western science and philosophy where possible. For example, as far as I can tell, all Magic is imaginary, and works via viral Meme transmission, not via mystical forces, such as Chi and Prana.
